We have a fully fledged litigation and arbitration practice involved in providing advice and litigating on matters before our civil and criminal courts at all levels. We also routinely appear before various statutory tribunals, arbitration panels and the Constitutional Court.

Commercial Law Practice

Our practice includes preparation of various commercial agreements, equipment leasing agreements, construction contracts for the supply of goods and services, hire-purchase agreements, asset finance agreements, sale of goods contracts, employment contracts, structuring pensions and provident funds and Employees’ Share Ownership Schemes (ESOPS). It also involves structuring project finance arrangements. This also includes general advice to local and international clients on all manner of legal queries relating to labor laws, immigration and other aspects of commercial law.

Banking Securities, Property Law And Conveyancing

Banking law entails a regime of rules and regulations which govern the procedure and substance of banking business. Banking business includes the setting up of accounts, deposit, transfers and/ or withdrawal of funds from the financial institution. In so doing, a financial institution enters into a broad range of legal relations which creates rights and obligations in order to achieve the customer’s and the financial institutions’ objectives. We handle all forms of security for advances and recoveries.
